Cosplay Shield

Is it still cosplay if it is not based on a specific character? I was inspired by all of the cosplay I see when scrolling through IG. This is a build I did a while ago, but never put out. It has a lot of small pieces, due to the small 3D printer that I was using at the time.

The shield has a continuous servo motor gear box that move the two halves of the shield in and out with the press of two of the buttons on the handle. The other button, triggers the NeoPixel gems to change color and the blaster tip the glow red. The trigger button also plays a blaster sound.

I’m using Adafruit’s Circuit Playground BLE, which has a small speaker and amplifier on the board, with a LiPo battery. My original design uses Adafruit’s Circuit Playground TFT Gizmo and an external speaker all enclosed in a module that sits on the other side of the wrist. A battery also in within the enclosure.
